Due to a sustained period of growth, our client's landscape & consultancy services division are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Landscape Architect to join the team.

Our client has a particular focus on water-related projects, including coastal flood defence as well as habitat creation initiatives, nature-based solutions, engagement, and consultation. Amongst other responsibilities, you would be responsible for assisting with, or overseeing, the production of character appraisals, vision statements, design proposals and high-quality written reports.

They have a wide spectrum of clients, many of whom are future-proofed, including the Environment Agency.

Our client is looking for a talented Landscape Architect to join their National Landscape Team, to assist with delivering a broad range of projects, including but not limited to:

– Green Infrastructure

– Coastal and Rivers Management

– Renewable Energy

– Public Realm

Qualifications and experience:

-Applicants should have a minimum of a degree (or equivalent) in Landscape Architecture.

-Chartered status (CMLI), or on the Pathway to Chartership with several years' experience

-Relevant UK sector experience.

Key competencies required for the role:

– Organised and able to balance competing priorities.

– An enthusiastic and dynamic team player, who is a strong communicator with a design and planning background.

– A pragmatic thinker and solution finder.

– A self-starter, who manages their own workload, and potentially that of a wider team.

– Natural Flood Management (NFM) and SuDs design experience would be ideal

– Strong skills using AutoCAD and Adobe software products.

– Experience in Landscape & Visual Impact assessment and Appraisal (LVIA) would be an advantage, with strong report writing skills.

– Awareness of Nature-Based Solutions.

– Good understanding of process and health and safety.

– Full UK driving licence.
