Design Engineer

Our client, a Global Organisation who specialise in secondary power distribution, are currently recruiting for a multi-skilled Design Engineer to achieve business objectives by developing and designing multiple products tailored around switchgear projects.
This individual will also contribute to the preparation of in-house/external testing of all designs, along with meeting customer expectation regarding cost, quality and time management.
Responsibilities for the Design Engineer:
Ability to keep track of product costs, documentation and BOM.
Liaise with other teams to ensure customer satisfaction is retained.
Carry out new engineering designs, fixtures, and automated project work using 3D CAD (Unigraphics NX).
Successful delivery of business' plans/mechanisms against your own ideas. This involves carrying out continuous quality control checks and problem solving from these findings.Experience and qualifications required for the Design Engineer:
Exceptional communication.
Self-Motivated individual.
Demonstrated relevant design & engineering experience.
Related qualification in mechanical/electrical engineering.
