Assignment description

Overall responsibility to manage the design Production & Distribution of Process Utilities Systems (i.e. compressed air, gases, steam, process wastewater and deionized water) in all projects in my clients Campus in Västerås, through all the project design stages i.e., concept, basic, detailed, as built and final handover to the client Operations and Maintenance teams.

The role requires extensive collaboration with all parts of the factory to assess consumption and understand the complete scope of generation and distribution of process utilities.

Requirements

– Fluency in English
– Master's degree in Mechanical or Chemical engineering
– Experience with design and or operation of process utilities systems.
– Able to read, understand, and review process schematics, construction drawings, P&ID:s
– Familiar with piping standards and fluid and gas transferring components (pumps, compressors, expansion tanks, heat exchangers, fans, piping/tubing, filters etc.)
– Experience working within a process manufacturing industry (oil and gas, petrochemical, pharmaceutical , power plant, food industry, paper and pulp industries).
– Familiarity with standard MS office and management software tools and platforms.
– Good understanding of BIM, Revit and Navisworks environments
– Project Manager skills, preferably PMI or equivalent.
– Can do-attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit.
