Salary : £35000 – £45000/annum

Brookwood are partnered with a leading interior architecture studio based in London, who are looking for a passionate Mid-Senior FF&E Designer with excellent understanding of furniture and product, interior architecture and design is a must. They specialise in high profile projects from luxury hospitality to residential and commercial projects in the UK and internationally. The successful candidate for this position will have experience working on high profile

projects and can run small to mid-size projects or work as a part of a team on large-scale projects. If you strive for career progression and a healthy work life balance, then this studio is perfect for you!

Job Responsibilities:

running FF&E projects from concept to completion at all levels of design production
understanding the FF&E project programmes and keeping those always required up to date

Prepare schemes and sample boards
Design bespoke furniture and prepare detailed furniture drawings
covering other team members’ responsibilities through holiday periods
mentoring junior members within the team
supporting the general well-being of the team and its productivity

demonstrate confidence in sketching and presenting new ideas
Support other members of the FF&E team.
Work closely with the team to ensure all FF&E documentation/information is coordinated throughout detail design packages and layouts
Research new fabrics and suppliers

About the Candidate:

an industry-recognised diploma or degree in interior design, interior architecture or architecture
proven experience working on both residential and hospitality focused projects

Proficient in AutoCAD
Expertise in FF&E
Experience using Estimac is beneficial
Excellent communication skills
Positive attitude and leadership skills
Must be productive, flexible and team oriented
Must be detail oriented and thorough
Must take initiative and ownership
Knowledge of both traditional and contemporary style of interior materials, furnishings, accessories and artwork as well as strong knowledge in sourcing FF&E and finishes.
Right to work in the UK

Competent in MS Office, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
