Salary: £26,249.60 to £30,014 per annum, depending on experience (actual part-time salary £15,749 to £18,008.64)
Reports to: Marketing Campaign Manager
Role Overview:
Part of a highly successful Europe-wide group with a turnover in excess of £400m, H2eCommerce, based in Cheshire, operates market-leading online retailers Cartridge People and Cartridge Shop. The company has recently diversified into the supply of 3D products with the brand 123-3D.
We are recruiting one, part-time Digital/ Graphic Designer to join our dynamic Marketing team. Our Digital/Graphic Designer will work alongside two senior designers and the wider marketing team to maximise brand awareness. In this interesting role, you will use our email service platform to build emails using data tables, design promotional banners, graphic designs and web designs for multiple e-commerce brands.
Our ideal candidate will have basic HTML knowledge high standards of design, be able to work creatively within brand guidelines and maintain a professional image for the company.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Design, build, and test engaging and well-delivered marketing emails for all brands based on brief
* Collaborate with the wider marketing team to split test, learn and optimise emails
* Ensure all emails are responsive, render correctly across different devices including tablet and mobile. Address any issues that may arise
* Design marketing material such as email, website graphics/ banners for all brands, social assets, campaign creatives, infographics, and print work
* Create engaging content, following brand and current industry best practice guidelines
* Responsible for the timely production and delivery of design assets
* Adhere to style standards on fonts, colours and images to the set brand guidelines
* Undertake any other ad-hoc design, as required, to support the wider business
Skills Required:
* Comfortable with email software and data tables
* Proficient with Adobe CC. Primarily Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Dreamweaver
* Organised, with a keen eye for detail and knowledge of render testing platforms such as Litmus
* Must have knowledge of HTML and CSS
* Experience in typography and layout design
* Have experience of using email marketing platforms and comfortable in managing data tables/data segments
* Able to work to deadlines
* Previous design experience within retail or eCommerce is advantageous
* Bachelor's degree in Design or related field would be advantageous
* Strong understanding of technical optimisation of emails, file optimisation techniques and appropriate file format for use (e.g. JPG, PNG, PDF, GIF, SVG, etc.)
* Excellent communication skills with a passion for understanding guidelines. An ability to produce fantastic work while working to a specific brief
* You should have a portfolio which demonstrates a variety of design and email campaigns
