Position summary Working on behalf of our client, (an established UK based digital agency) we are recruiting for a Senior Designer, to bring brand stories to life with exceptional design flair.

Job Details:

Having accountability for rigorous and robust high-quality design work; you’ll be providing design expertise across many communications with a keen eye for the details that elevate design work to an extraordinary level of thinking and finesse.

Support creative briefings and project scoping
Teaming-up with other creatives, designers, art workers, and developers to bring design logic, problem solving and knowhow.
Ensure the integrity of design work is maintained throughout the creative process
Prioritising projects, design tasks of your own and others to ensure projects meet customer needs and deadlines
Bringing the communication narrative to life, using intelligent layouts, skilled typography, and dynamic imagery across user experiences, prototypes, motion storyboards and more
Showcasing excellent design rationale and craft skills across all collateral, establishing clear user-centric hierarchy of information that sets the benchmark for others to follow
Designing and delivering training materials, explainer animations, interface design and motion work
Crafting traditional design work for a multitude of marketing communications
Presenting design thinking and executions internally and at client presentations
Push boundaries but ensuring we can deliver results according to the client’s core objectives
Scoping projects accurately, including potential scope creep and outside resources costs
Communicating with clients to meet their needs and keep projects on track, profitable and on budget
Mentoring and developing the design and production teams skills
Forming strong partnerships with colleagues as a trusted design advisor
Supporting the Creative Director, Project Lead, and Client Service Teams
Staying abreast of the latest trends and advances in design and production software
To be successful in this role:

You will be a confident and Senior Designer with 8-12 years’ experience in the design industry supported by a strong portfolio to showcase your creativity, design craft and sector knowledge.

You will be able to demonstrate in depth knowledge of design techniques for print, digital, interface and traditional design along with experience in mentoring a small design team in a fast-paced environment.

Self-assured in your own proven ability you will be able to create intelligent, high-quality designs and ensure that client expectations are exceeded with commercial goals being consistently met.

Skills & Experience:

Ability to manage the design process from design concept to a finalised solution ready for production.
Outstanding knowledge of user-focused layouts, typography, imagery, and communication design.
High levels of expertise in Adobe CC, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, PowerPoint, Outlook, (XD, Figma, After Effects, Premier Pro an advantage)
Organised and structured with strong project and team management skills
Ability to effectively quality assess design work throughout the creative process
A true team player able to build trusted relationships with multiple people across the business
A passion for digital technologies, and emerging software
Hunger to learn and apply new skills
