Commercial Analyst
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £50000 – £60000/annum 10% bonus
Robert Walters is excited to be recruiting a Financial Accountant to join one of the UK's leading fashion retailers located in Greater Manchester. Due to the rapid growth of the business, this new vacancy is offering a competitive salary to join a thriving and diverse team.
You will be reporting to the Financial Controller who will support you in both your personal and professional growth. In return you will be responsible for the financial reporting for a dynamic and evolving multi-million-pound turnover business as well the control, reconciliation and integrity of the general ledger and the production of all financial reporting.
The Role
Sitting within the finance team, you will be reporting into the Financial Controller, and you will be responsible for:
Gathering financial and operational data on the business, and providing assessments and analysis of said data
Producing financial modelling scenarios to help inform future decisions for the business
Preparing budgets and monthly or quarterly forecasting
Undertaking competitor analysis
Identifying and report of market trends
Writing analyses and distributing or presenting to key stakeholders
Identifying business improvement opportunities and efficienciesThe Candidate
You will be/have:
A fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
Previous experience working with financial modelling
Strong presentation skills and able to represent complex data in a simplified, concise manner
Excellent communication skillsThe Company
