Showroom Assistant

Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Salary : £25000 – £30000/annum + team bonus

French luxury design house is looking for a Showroom Assistant, ideally French speaking, with a real passion for interior design. You will be working closely with the Showroom team as well as Sales team, who can generate business through professional service and contribute to the daily running of the showroom.

This is a Monday to Friday job.

ROLE OF THE SHOWROOM ASSISTANT:

* Looking after all clients in the showroom, helping to scheme, advise on suitability of the use of fabrics

* Showing as many products/brands as possible, understanding client's projects and responding their needs, demonstrating the product with flair and passion

* Reinforcing existing relationships with designers, especially those who source via their showroom

* Networking and developing contacts

* Assist with maintaining sample library

* Sample collection and ordering for clients on a daily basis

* Maintenance of the showroom

* Assisting with other tasks when required

PROFILE:

* Previous showroom experience

* OR previous experience within high end residential and/or hospitality markets.

* Fluent French or to intermediate level would be an asset

* Really enthusiastic about iconic design, with a good interior design eye

* Strong communication skills

* Good team player

* Self-motivated and well organised

* Able to communicate professionally and confidently with clients in the showroom, on the phone and by email.

* Enthusiastic and flexible

SALARY:

* Between £25k and £30k/y according to skills and experience

* + Team bonus

OTHER:

* Monday-Friday. 9:30am -5:30pm
