Based near Verwood, Dorset, or hybrid, depending on the individual.

The Opportunity
Our client is keen to expand their market reach by leveraging their extensive technical print & finishing capabilities and skills to create new products for both B2B and B2C customers.
The Business
The business has been around for over 30 years with a recently refreshed leadership team who are focussed on maximising the quality of their service and products and expanding their client base into new areas.
They're profitable, well-invested, quietly confident, motivated and keen to grow with strong end-user clients who already recognise their capabilities and value.
The Role
We don't see a long term future in a business that competes on price and volume, which is why this role is all about adding value and creating product-led opportunities for the business.
They would like you to:

Explore & create new printed product ideas and concepts that can be commercialised and sold as new products by sales team and via a future e-commerce.
*
Help the business manage and develop new printed products. Recommend intended marketplaces, functionality and branding (if necessary).
*
Work with the product design and manufacturing team to understand the business’ manufacturing capabilities.
*
Support the Sales team in understanding client requirements, identifying trends in product requirements that can be used and adapted to build a commercial product portfolio.
They would like you to be:

Creatively minded with some experience in print or packaging products, design, advertising or marketing.
*
An “ideas generator” who challenges expectations and pushes colleagues to expand their reach in exceeding customer needs.
*
Has some commercial understanding and can make commercial arguments for products or concepts.
*
Is enthusiastic about new printed product development
*
Works well under their own initiative and is able to set their own goals.
*
Influential and able to affect change in people and business
*
A good communicator, both internally and with customers.
*
A visualiser who can “paint a picture” around products and marketplaces .

The potential to grow and develop with this role is huge.
We’d like you to be commutable to the Verwood/Southampton region, but can be hybrid flexible depending on your needs and experience. It’s important you’re regularly on site, as that’s where the print and packaging creators are based.
