Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Salary : £28000 – £35000/annum

A great opportunity has arisen within the are of Staffordshire for an Architectural Technician to work on some amazing projects with an AJ100 practice within the industrial sector. If you have retail experience this is desirable also.

Roles and Responsibilities:
* Providing support on feasibility studies on commercial projects.
* Undertaking general due-diligence, reviewing development constraints and identifying opportunities.
* Developing sketch ideas into detailed proposals.
* Supporting on Planning applications assisting with Design & Access Statements and drawing packages
* Provide support with the presentation and collation of design documents
* Attending and contribute to design workshops where required.
* Review or modify the plans according to incoming requests.
* To record evidence of your professional experience in accordance with the requirements of the RIBA or CIAT as equivalent as applicable.

* Conceptual, graphic and design skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team and to deadlines.
* Working knowledge of UK building regulations.

Core Requirements:
* RIBA Part II degree qualification or CIAT accredited undergraduate degree
* Understanding of UK Planning and Building Regulation process.
* AutoCad and Photoshop
* InDesign, Illustrator, Revit and Sketchup are desirable.
