Company Profile:

Run Flat Systems Limited, an innovative company providing new runflat solutions to the military and security industries, is seeking a Design Engineer to join our development team in Doncaster. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the creation of 3D models and 2D drawings to aid with production and will work closely with our development team on the design of new products and concepts.

This position requires the ability to obtain a UK Security Clearance, for which the UK Government requires UK residency. Ideally the candidate will live within a 90 minute commute from the Doncaster facility.

The Role:

Run Flat Systems Limited is seeking a Design Engineer to join our Development team in Doncaster. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the creation of 3D models and 2D drawings to aid with production and will work closely with our Development team on the design of new products and concepts.

Job Responsibilities:

Creation of 3D models and 2D drawings for use in production using Solidworks.
Work on multiple projects at the same time.
Design of tooling/fixtures for production and assembly operations.
Test tooling/fixtures with the assembly team.
Setup and running of 3D printers for the production of parts and development.
Working closely with our team to ensure best practices for manufacture and assembly.Desired Skills:

Experience of 2D and 3D CAD (Solidworks 3D CAD).
Background in Mechanical Engineering.
Must be organised, able to manage own time, and a self-starter.
An understanding of common manufacturing methods.
Experience in mechanical assembly.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to adapt to new software quickly.Benefits:
