Salary :

Senior Creative Textiles Designer sought by a manufacturer of global floor coverings to join their established team. You will develop high end commercial innovative designs for the hospitality and leisure market whilst maintaining the company’s reputation for design excellence.  Home based anywhere in the UK. England, Ireland, Scotland or Wales.
 
Responsibilities:

Develop and execute to a high standard, creative and commercially sensitive, innovative designs and production plans
Manage client’s expectations, understand and react to their design-related needs by delivering creative and unique designs within the required deadline
Meet clients to take design briefs and discuss ongoing and live projects
Assimilate and develop multiple design briefs
Prepare and deliver presentations
Oversee and if need be assist Creative Designers with high profile projects
Help coach, inspire and develop emerging design talent as and when hired by the business
Offer advice and share knowledge / experience with colleagues
Meet the unique needs of a discerning Architecture & Design community
Attend networking events and actively build relationships with new and existing clients within the Design community
Participate in design collections and collaborations when required
Meet clients to take design briefs and discuss ongoing and live projects
Work closely with a tight-knit design team comprising design, sales and project management colleagues
Adopt a proactive and flexible approach to meeting department objectives
Encourage commitment to continuous improvement and team working at all times 
The successful Senior Creative Textile Designer will demonstrate:

Strong expertise in floor covering design or textile design which encompasses floor covering design with varied design experience and knowledge
Competent in Textile design
Worked for a flooring manufacturer
Proficient in Adobe and Microsoft Office
High level of technical proficiency
An expert eye for detail and ability to problem solve
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
A creative thinker who can translate complex conceptual ideas
Confident at presenting to other team members and clients
Can work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, whilst juggling multiple projects at the same time
Up to date knowledge of industry trends
Strong oral and written communication skills and active listening skills
Strong planning, organisational and time management skills
Effective networking and relationship building skills
