Product Designer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £51 – £65000/annum
My client who are building a platform to enable software professionals from less fortunate backgrounds to upskill and secure jobs in the industry are looking for their first ever Product Designer to join their growing team.
This is a fully remote position (full time or 20+ hours per week), so the role holder can be located anywhere although most of the team are based in the San Francisco Bay.
Requirements:
Proficient in Visual Design – typography, desktop/mobile UI, aesthetic sense and how these elements impact the product function
You would have used Sketch, Zeplin, inVision, Figma or other UX/UI design tools
Have a deep understanding of UX/UI
Design end to end flows and simple and elegant experience for the supported platforms
Able to rapidly prototype ideas and test and launch
Create a range of UX/UI deliverables including user flowcharts, diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interface mock-ups
Take ownership of own work
Empathise with and understand the users. Identify problems and opportunities through conducting own user research
Good to have
Expertise in social networks/communities or education technology
Can hit the ground running to suggest features that will empower the top talent in MENA
Have management skills or would like to develop them
Have experience in working remotely on a global scale working across time zones
