Conrad Consulting are delighted to be working with a large multi-disciplinary practice based in Leeds who are seeking a Revit Technician to join their Architectural Design team.

THE COMPANY:

The company in question is a large multi-disciplinary practice with a head office in Nottinghamshire and further offices spread throughout the East Midlands and Leeds. The head office has a team of over 35 people, and the Leeds office fast approaching 10 members of staff having been established in the last few years.

As a multi-disciplinary, the practice offers a variety of services in areas such as; Architecture, Interior Design, Civil and Structural Engineering, Project Management, Building Surveying, Clerk of Works and BIM. The practice work in a broad range of sectors and project types, including; Education, Retail, Leisure, Commercial, Industrial, and Residential developments.

The practice have invested heavily in BIM systems and Revit software is used throughout the office, along with AutoCAD, SketchUp and more. The practice have also implemented hybrid and remote working options, which opens up opportunities for Revit Technician's commuting from further afield. Being based in Leeds or Nottinghamshire with remote/hybrid working options, this position as an Revit Technician would suit those living in and around the West / South Yorkshire or East Midlands, Lincolnshire surrounding areas.

THE POSITION -ARCHITECTURAL REVIT TECHNICIAN:

The Revit Technician in this role will be a key member of the Design team, working with well known high street brand names in the Retail sector, delivering retail store rollouts, refurbishments and fit outs across the country. The projects you will be working on consist of a variety of prestigious, flagship developments in locations throughout the UK, with projects tending to range in value from £150k to £10m.

The Revit Technician will be delivering technical drawing packages suitable for planning, building regulations, tender and construction. All projects are modelled and delivered in Revit using collaborative working.

This position would suit a Revit Technician with at least 5 years of industry experience, ideally gained within a private practice or multi-disciplinary environment. It would be highly advantageous for you to have a varied project/sector background, along with proficiency in the use of Revit software.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Qualification in a related field, eg – Architectural Technology degree or HNC/HND in Construction etc.
At least 5 years of industry experience.
The ability to work on a number of projects at any one time and manage their workload accordingly to meet critical deadlines.
Sound knowledge of UK Building Regulations.
Proficiency in the use of Revit
Experience of working within the Retail sector would be ideal.
