ATA Recruitment are working with a leading wholesale packaging supplier with over 45 years of industry experience, as part of a multi-national group of companies the business focuses on automation design and manufacture of automatic counting and packaging systems for the pharmaceutical industry.

Our client is constantly developing new equipment within their machine portfolio and the focus is to introduce new technology and exciting ideas into the industry.

This Italian owned business is currently going through an aggressive growth plan to build on their 10 million turnover per year, as a result they are currently looking for a dynamic Mechanical Design Engineer to join their talented team in the midlands.

The Role

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will serve a key role within the team and be involved throughout the life cycle of a project, you will be liaising and interacting with all departments of the company in your everyday work, giving the right candidate an exciting opportunity to expand above and beyond design work.

Key responsibilities for a Mechanical Design Engineer will be:

To provide 2D and 3D CAD drawings
To produce concept designs and detailing on projects
To produce general assembly drawings to fully detailed parts drawings
To interface with members of the in-house manufacturing team
The Candidate:

The ideal Mechanical Design Engineer would have:

2D and 3D CAD experience
Engineering Qualification
MS Office user
The ability to be a strong team player who communicates well with others
The ability to work on their own initiative
