Graphic Designer- Desktop Publisher Assistant

Pertemps are working in partnership with Scottish Qualifications Authority and are recruiting for a Content Producer- Desk Top publisher. The location is easily accessible from Midlothian and Edinburgh with free parking/ bus station – only 20 minutes from City Centre
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 6 Months
Pay Rate: £12.04 per hour
Location: Shawfair EH22
The successful candidate will be an experienced Desk Top Publisher who will be producing confidential assessment materials. Experience of using Adobe InDesign is essential and experience of using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop is desirable. Working to a set of house style rules you will produce high quality, accurate and error free assessment materials in a wide range of subject areas. You will also provide high quality administrative and customer support.
Main Duties:
Using Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop to produce high quality, accurate and error free materials
Proof reading materials with a high degree of diligence
Interpreting requests for changes to materials received in a variety of different forms
Preparing materials for publishing in a variety of formats
Key Skills:
Managing time effectively and completing tasks to deadlines
Working as part of a team
Communicating with a range of internal and external stakeholders
Ability to work with accuracy and with an attention to detail
Applicants, as a minimum, should be educated to SCQF Level 6 (SVQ 3/Higher or above) and/or be able to demonstrate direct relevant experience for this role.
