We have an exciting opportunity for a Fashion Designer to join the Production team. You will support the Production Manager in developing designs for clothing and accessory products for various markets and brands, and develop design templates and systems to improve the support process to production and sales. This is a full time, office-based position in Banbury, Oxfordshire.

Key responsibilities:

* Create and develop clothing and accessory designs
* Interpret brand guidelines for design purposes (product requirements, product range, colour and logo use)
* Research clothing and accessory trends along with fabric and branding formats
* Attend internal and external client brief meetings
* Communicate and present designs and products internally and externally to clients
* Create product specifications and artwork for factories
* Review samples received from factory and feedback effectively the revisions required on colour, fabric, fit and branding.
* Communicate with global suppliers

* Work closely in assessing product requirements for markets with the Production Manager

* Produce high quality visuals in variety of paper and electronic media
* Liaise with clients about the details of their design concepts

* Oversee and maintain original artwork files

Who we are looking for…

Our ideal candidate will have a degree within Fashion / Business Design Clothing / Accessories or equivalent, as well as having previous experience within a Designer role (this can include university placement). You will be a highly motivated self-starter and relentless in exceeding customer expectations, continually exceeding goals and managing your own work for your clients. You must be an advanced user of Adobe illustrator and Photoshop, and be an excellent communicator and confident presenter.
