Fantastic new opportunity for a dynamic, forward thinking Head of Sales from a branded apparel, lifestyle or accessories background. We are looking for this person to be proven in strategic sales management, and in managing/developing a remote based sales team in UK & Ireland.

The ideal applicant could be described as entrepreneurial, agile to change and working in senior management and a motivational, people manager. Someone who shares their passion, vision, values and commitment and who can drive sales and has an appetite to expand horizons.

Head of Sales – The Job Specification

* Responsible for the smooth operation, development and implementation of the strategy, and will be focus on maximising revenue and profit, whilst protecting the brand values, and increasing market share.

* To lead, motivate and inspire a team of remote salespeople to achieve sales targets and objectives set collaboratively with the MD.

* Working closely with the MD on delivering of the strategic business plan to achieve target. (To include new product diversification)

* Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, merchandising, brand marketing, design, sourcing, customer services, finance, and partner organisations.

* Overseeing forecasting for the brand in line with Company objectives and targets.

* To protect the brand equity through strategic positioning/distribution of the brand.

* Managing and developing the Sales Team.

* Managing identified strategic Key Accounts.

* Monthly sales report to the MD; and quarterly brand update to the Board.

Head of Sales – The Person Specification

* Proven track record in similar Head of Sales, or senior sales management within branded or wholesale environment. Varied backgrounds accepted BUT must include fashion/lifestyle or accessories industry based experience including knitwear, socks /hosiery.

* Experience of UK/Ireland market is essential. Additional knowledge of international markets would be desirable.

* Excellent business sense – a strategic thinker and tactical

* Understands the critical path process for production and supply

* Self motivated and proactive – driven to change things for the better.

* IT literate, specifically PPT and Excel (intermediate essential).

* People management experience, with the ability to motivate and lead a successful remote team.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels.

* Good planning and organisational skills.

* The ability to work calmly under pressure.

Head Office is located in Leicester and this position does offer hybrid working allowing for reasonable commute to the office and flexible working to accommodate the needs of the business
