A fantastic opportunity within a state of the art publishing, design and printing facility to work alongside our Design Manager to create unique, exclusive wall art ranges. We are looking for someone, in the early stages of their career, with a passion for interiors and design, to grow and develop within the company, with excellent opportunities for progression. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' work experience specifically in a design / creative position who has the capability of creating bespoke ranges of imagery to specific briefs.
The Business
An industry leading wall art supplier providing an extensive portfolio of products to both the independent and national retail sectors. Working directly with artists and designers, transferring imagery within our design and publishing studio into finished products, manufactured and despatched on site.
The Role
* Developing design led contemporary in-house ranges creatively working to specifications and briefs.
* Developing exciting, finished product ranges from original artwork using a wide variety of materials, presentations, and unique treatments.
* You would also be involved in image sourcing, selection and sampling.
* You would work with artists, national accounts, graphic designers, digital printers with the overall responsibility to create the most exciting wall art ranges within the industry.
Skills
* Must have 2 years' experience of Design in the home furnishing, wall covering, greeting card or textile industries. Applications will not be considered without this experience.
* The ability to translate market trends into winning wall art.
* Strong MAC, Photoshop and In-Design skills.
* You must be familiar with the latest colour and design trends, highly innovative and commercially aware and have a great eye for colour and design.
* Degree or other form of qualification in design / art / textiles / graphics.
