Product Development Coordinator

Due to our continued success and growth we now require and experienced product development coodinator to join our friendly team,

To work collaboratively with the relevant internal teams and suppliers to maintain relationships and source product.

This role would suit an individual who has textiles knowledge, as the role is to support the wider New product development and Quality teams by –

1. To lead and co-ordinate custom print projects.

2. To facilitate the technical specification processes and product trials.

3. To work collaboratively with the NPD team to agree or establish processing methods and routes.

4. To ensure relevant information and feedback is reported in a timely manner using the appropriate materials and software.

Competencies:-

* * Action product development processes and monitoring shared actions.

* * Administering supplier verification/ sourcing activities.

* * Facilitating internal product testing.

* * Preparing trial/ tests for dispatch.

* * Colour continuity card set up and maintenance.

* * Pre-shipment sample assessments.

* * Facilitating custom ordering.

* * To generate non-digital sample requests for briefing.

To be successful in this role, you would also need to have strong organisational and administrative skills and be comfortable multi-tasking and maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Auditing experience and familiarity with photoshop, custom databases and Microsoft packages would also be advantageous or could be included within your induction and training plans

* Textile Technical awareness – basecloth and print conditions, knowledge and understanding of technical textiles and the legislation/standards relating to the contract fabrics marketplaces around the globe.

* Understanding of pattern repeats, panel printing and positioning.

* Attention to detail and accuracy, even when under pressure.

* Organisational skills and ability to multitask.

* Good communication skills and ability to liaise with internal departments.

* Competence across a range Microsoft and bespoke software packages.

Hours of work Monday to Thursday 9.00am to 5.00pm, Friday 9.00am to 3.00pm

Salary negotiable depending on experience, Annual bonus of 3% of salary, Contribution pension scheme
