Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer – Reading & Surrounding

A leading Air Conditioning and Chiller manufacturer are currently looking to add a Mobile A/C Engineer to their work force, covering the Berkshire region.
The successful engineer will ideally be considered an ‘all rounder’ with experience working on systems such as VRV, VRF, Multi Split, Close Control and DX (ideally from a range of different manufacturers), across a range of environments with cooling required for both comfort and critical.
You will have a background consisting of service and maintenance works, including both pre planned and reactive, from basic maintenance such as filter and oil changes to major repairs including compressor and fan motor replacement. Fault finding skills, both mechanical and electrical, are an absolute necessity. Chiller experience, even first line, would be considered a significant bonus.
You will ideally have completed an apprenticeship/training programme, having gained a minimum of C&G Level 2 + F-Gas 2079 or J11 (or of course time served). Any other qualifications, particularly electrical, are advantageous.
There is a fantastic career path on offer, with the potential to gain further exposure to chillers and later progress into a purely chiller based role if desired. The manufacturer have a fantastic reputation from promoting from within and developing ‘their own’.
Package:-
Paid Travel Time (worth 10-12k PA)
Fully Expensed Company Car/Van
Company Pension (6%)
Life Insurance

About Your Recruiter..
I entered the industry in the early 2000's joining Daikin Applied (then McQuay) as an apprentice upon leaving school before progressing into a senior engineering position within the industry. In 2013, I made the crazy decision to recruit for the industry, working with both leading manufacturers and specialist service providers. I know good candidates deserve great roles, and more importantly I realise the value employers place in their staff whilst out there representing their company. I aim to introduce key talent to the Air Con world
