Our client is the leading company in the UK for transportation and logistics solutions. They provide solutions for all types of transportation operations ranging from bulk goods to regulated medical products. This role will be home and field based. They are undergoing an exciting transition as a business and this has opened up and opportunity within aftersales department.
The role will be to maximize the Aftersales performance, and profitability of the company through day to day management and support of nominated Service Partners. To provide a supporting role in delivering the optimum level of Aftermarket support to business customers as the leading supplier in value added services to the transportation market.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage customer related issues through the Service Partner Network and provide central support.
* Escalation point in relation to warranty, parts and repair methods.
* Responsible for ensuring business Service Partner standards are being achieved and the relevant audit processes are completed.
* Work with the Service Partner Network to develop the Aftersales Business and carry our quarterly review meetings to cover:
* Part Purchase Performance (measurement & growth)
* Review customer issues within area of responsibility
* Business development Opportunities
* Breakdown Performance (If applicable)
* Actively recruit new Service Partners in identified “open points”
* Drive quality measures through Service Partners and ensure all training records are kept up to date.
* Maintain business Service Partner Database and ensure all key contact & service ability is updated regularly.
* Provide weekly itinerary
* Provide weekly reports defining accounts of previous week.
* Liaise with service agents to ensure any customer problems are effectively resolved.
* To ensure targets and objectives are meet
* Attend exhibitions/ meeting as required.
Key Skills
* Should have a minimum 3 years experience in a similar role.
* Capable of establishing and maintaining effective relationships with partners and clients and the ability to present product features/benefits applicable to individual clients requirements.
* Able to communicate at all levels.
* A team player, with excellent regional management and negotiation skills, capable of effectively analysing issues and problem solving.
* Must have the ability to plan time effectively
* Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
