Our Client, an award winning business producing handmade oatcakes which are enjoyed all around the world, has a rare opportunity available for an Administration Assistant to join their team.

Reporting to the General Manager the Administration Assistant will work within a varied role therefore should be as comfortable on the factory floor as they are behind a desk.
Accommodation also available for those wishing to re-locate to the Island.
Key responsibilities include, although are not limited to:
* Assisting with the processing of the company’s sales ledger
* Accessing supermarket customer orders through the EDI and processing
* Raising sales orders, co-ordinating transport with the relevant freight companies & dealing with delivery issues as appropriate
* Compiling, checking, and filing documentation relative to the Quality Management System
* Contributing to the internal audit programme through auditing and verification
* Managing environmental monitoring, swabbing and sampling programmes
* Ensuring supplier questionnaires, accreditations, and supplier product specifications are current and up to date
* Dealing with customer queries as required
* Assisting with oatcake production as required
* Implementation of the Company’s Hygiene and Health and Safety Policies
The ideal Administration Assistant will:
* Ideally have previous administrative experience however applications will be considered from those at trainee level where transferable skills apply
* Have good communication skilled both written and verbal
* Have strong IT skills, particularly SAGE accounts and Excel
* Have the ability to juggle various tasks, always with an attention to detail
* Hold excellent organisational ability
Office hours are Monday to Friday 9 to 5pm and while ideally the post holder will work full time, the exact number of hours and working times are negotiable.
