9am – 3pm
Monday – Friday
£13.00ph

We have an excellent opportunity to join a small but friendly team on a initial tempoary basis. The key purposes will be ensuring invoices are completed accurately and making sure payments are received promptly and efficiently.

The successful candidate will have Sales Ledger experience and be proficient in MS office and accounting software. Experience using Pegasus Opera 3 would be beneficial but not essential as training will be given.

Duties will Include

* Maintaining the sales ledger to ensure all accounts are kept tidy and details are up to date.

* Producing and processing of invoices along with any re-charges.

* Proactively investigate and manage queries, registering invoice disputes in a timely fashion.

* Take responsibility for investigating and resolving any deductions from payment.

* Maintain contact with customers to ensure timely payments

* Investigate non-payments, identify issues and resolve where possible

* Raise credit notes as required and send to Customers.

* Prepare and send customer statements

* Ensure orders are within agreed credit limits or additional authorisation has been given to exceed limit

* Cash allocation

Skills required

* Highly organised with ability to prioritise workload

* Ability to achieve high levels of accuracy whilst working under pressure

* Experience of working within a fast-paced environment

* Experience of working with large volumes of data

* Team player with good communication skills
