Accountant

A dynamic qualified accountant with corporate finance, project management and/or financial modelling experience is needed to join a dynamic growing business at their head office in Exeter. You will be joining an entreprenuial fast-paced business that is leading the way in its sector.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance you will be responsible for:
* Project management for several multi stakeholder commercial projects.
* Preparing commercial financial models and budgets.
* Financial modelling generation and manipulation.
* Assisting with tender document preparation and evaluation of tenders
* Business case drafting.
* Relationship management with internal and external stakeholders.
* Financial structuring and soft market testing with financial markets
* Ad hoc project work

Full time hours: Mon – Fri 40 hours
Part-time hours: min 3 days per week / 24 hours per week
Location: Hybrid – Central Exeter / Work from home
The Person
We are keen to hear from ACA, ACCA, qualified accountants, or similar, with excellent technical knowledge, and a background in corporate finance or project management.
You will be a self-starter with a high energy approach and a desire to work in a fast-paced, change environment where you will be hands on.
With a track record including financial analysis or financial modelling and a proven ability in delivering accurate financial and management reporting. You’ll be a first-rate communicator with strong verbal and written skills; able to inspire, persuade and influence and working in a collaborative manner with colleagues at all levels in the business.
A natural problem-solver with excellent analytical skills – able to analyse, understand and explain complex information to non-finance staff at all levels.
Excel skills including use of formulas, look ups and pivot tables as well as PowerPoint or similar presentation software experience are essential.
An understanding of commercial model creation process is desirable.
