Accountant
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £22000 – £32000/annum
We are currently working with a leading independent firm of accountants who are looking to bolster their team with a Book keeper/Accountant based out of their office in Berkhamstead.
The successful candidate will be will working in a small team, side by side with one of the directors who has a wealth of experience to pass on and will also offer the opportunity to gain client exposure from day one.
The Role
* Preparing statutory accounts for limited company’s, partnerships and sole traders
* Payroll, VAT returns
* Tax, bookkeeping and other accounting work when required
* Liaising directly with clients
The Candidate
* A minimum of 2 years practice experience
* Ideally AAT qualified or ACCA part qualified
* Must be comfortable with interacting with clients face to face and over the telephone
