Conrad Consulting are working alongside an architectural practice that specialises in Classical and Traditional architecture as well as contextual Urban Design to source a variety of Architectural professionals to add to their talented team based in Winchester – This includes an experienced Project Architect.

With global recognition for their award-winning projects, ranging in scale from beautiful bespoke houses and the restoration of historic buildings, to commercial and public buildings, through to masterplans including village extensions and major housing developments you will gain exposure to such a variety of interesting projects that will make this role an ever-changing and enjoyable experience. This practice delivers prestigious projects both in the UK and internationally, so you will gain the opportunity to make your mark on projects that will be enjoyed throughout the world including countries such as USA, Italy, India and Cuba!

The successful Project Architect will also operate upon marvellous masterplanning designs, where yet again this company has received various awards for projects across the country. You will focus on delivering schemes of high-quality and with considered thought towards sustainable outcomes that result in harmonious developments and town extensions.

We are looking for Project Architects that can clearly demonstrate over 5 years' of experience in delivering bespoke high-end residential projects. You will be responsible for leading projects at various work stages and therefore you must be adept at managing RIBA Stages 2 – 6 with a thorough knowledge of construction details and the ability to produce presentation drawings.

You will be trusted to work unsupervised, but you will also be required to manage complex teams that will include professionals of varying levels.

Project Architect Requirements:

RIBA Chartered/ARB Registered Architect
Minimum 5 years' experience within UK Architecture industry
Experience delivering bespoke residential projects and an interest in traditional architect will be favourable
Strong technical detailing ability
Experience with contract administration
Proficiency of ArchiCAD is desirable but training will be provided

The position will be based in the company's head office which is located in the city of Winchester, well connected to all parts of the UK by road, rail and air, with regular trains to London, and beautiful national parks and beaches on the doorstep to the south and east.

The office is easily commutable from Southampton, Portsmouth, Andover, Basingstoke & Salisbury
