Are you looking for your next step in PR? Do you have passion and drive to promote award-winning books on arts and crafts to influencers throughout the world?

Our client, an amazing family-owned publisher of art, craft and textile books based in Kent, is looking to recruit a Publicist to promote their brilliant books globally.

The ideal candidate will have some direct book PR experience or general PR experience in the art and crafts industry. The ideal candidate will have some experience of securing coverage across print and online media and be able to develop new relationships with authors, journalist influencers, bloggers and reviewers. You will be visually creative in producing promotional material, and be confident in planning campaigns along with arranging promotional events.

Key responsibilities:

– Creating winning campaigns

– Providing excellent care to authors

– Researching and liaising with Influencers, bloggers and reviewers

– Working as part of a busy team including sales and marketing to share ideas and plans

– Reaching out to media contacts and journalists

This is the perfect role for someone who is looking to take that next step in their PR Career and is interested in joining a friendly team, where people are truly passionate about crafts. Knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop would be an advantage.
