Digital Marketing Executive 

The main purpose of this role is to increase brand engagement via our social media channels, while looking for PR / brand awareness opportunities across all online channels. This will include supporting other external online campaigns, such as automation and email.

You will be joining a fun, non-conventional internal team who are always looking to self-improve and develop. We’re looking for a marketer that loves to understand their audience and find out why content performs using data and context, and then look at how we use this to amplify our brand message.  

To be clear, it’s a fast-paced, dynamic environment and the business is moving ahead fast, which means you must be ‘OK with change’ and happy to ‘leap in’ and support any of our projects.

Hybrid working – You willl be required to be in Alton, Hampshire 2-3 times a week
Core working hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am-5pm.  
Salary negotiable depending on experience.
Role Overview/ Experience Requirements

This role will present a variety of work mostly within the social / digital marketing space; hence we will be interested in hearing what level of skill & experience you have within the areas listed below: 

Social media marketing (account management, content creation, lead generation, performance reporting, managing of notifications & engagements).
Creative copywriting for various marketing media within internal/external communication channels (a mix of short and long-form). 
Digital advertising (PPC), both on social media and Google Ads. 
Email marketing (support on asset generation & CRM email automation). 
Content creation (creation of internal/external communication assets and layouts such as customer presentations, newsletters and similar).
Researching key content themes from the industry and thinking about what our perspective could be.
Website content population & maintenance (this will only be short-term support).
Development Opportunities 

There are some key areas for development if we can see you have the skills:

Using data insights to create a channel specific strategy for each social media channel and advising the Communications Manager on the medium and message depending on the channel and campaign.
Finding PR opportunities relating to our current and reacting to them online, anything from engagement to suggesting content ideas and creating short or longer form content to respond.
Other areas in the future could be:
Influencer management / community management – as part of our strategy over next 2 years, we will be working with an increasing number of influencers and key industry personnel.
Broader PR – Researching key content themes, defining our perspective based on our brand values and thinking about our response. This could influence content themes we focus on, events we attend or magazines we advertise in.
Desireable Experience

Social media community management
PR Agency role experience (junior / exec)
Content creation – video / imagery editing
Useful Software Experience
Meta Business Suite, Linkedin Campaign Manager, Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Pardot, Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro), Google Analytics, Google Ads, WordPress (or similar CMS).
