This will require the ability to translate data and other website collateral from one format to another
o Our client believes a variety of tasks is good for all, whilst they are a PHP/LAMP-oriented company, the developer should be able to exhibit some proficiency with all of the following:
* HTML 5, Javascript & CSS – they make extensive use of jQuery and knowledge of Javascript and OOP programming would be an advantage. o AJAX & JSON communication between server and client

o A developer at this level should have an organised and informed approach to data and code security
About the Candidate
* A developer must have ability to fulfill a brief accurately within a given realistic deadline. A developer should have the confidence to seek support and help if, for any reason, they cannot do so.
* Any team member must be articulate, literate, numerate, personable and honest
* Whilst our client does much to minimise the team’s exposure to all data, they require a scrupulous, mature and responsible approach to their data and that of their clients
* They value a willingness to think and learn over vocational training in a narrow field of expertise, they value experience in post and a track record over formal qualifications:
o An ideal candidate would have degree-level education; this need not be in a directly related field
o A period of several years’ experience is required to demonstrate relevant facility and experience with the technologies they use
* All developers will be expected to maintain an interest in their field, demonstrating curiosity regarding relevant technology developments and trends. Our client would hope their experience to date will bring ideas, insights and knowledge that will contribute to the team and the company as a whole
* Everyone’s experiences differ and all may bring benefits unforeseen. Our client would hope all humans working for them will maintain an enthusiasm outside their field.
* Any developer working for our client is expected to have an enthusiasm for resolving problems. The ability to achieve this through code is obviously at the core of what we do … but the ability to spot and implement the best solution, whether it be code-, interface, procedure – or user experience-based is prized most of all.
Our client does not believe that the job should be the only thing in one’s life and they do not expect it to be the most important. But they see no reason why it shouldn’t be both rewarding and, most of the time, enjoyable. That technical competence and efficiency is required is a given; Our client is a company that aspires to work in an environment of trust, cheer and respect between team members, clients and everyone with whom they work. As a company they endeavour to extend these values to every member of their team and demand the same in return.
