Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Salary : £22000 – £25000/annum

Main Duties/ Responsibilities

Set up, test and operate  Audio Visual (AV) equipment within the non- auditoria-based meetings and events spaces

Projection screens / LCD Screens
Projectors
PA systems
Video conferencing equipment
Lighting
Conferencing camera’s
Recording equipment
Associated connectivity – video mixers / audio mixers etc

Provide first-line AV reactive support to all non-auditoria-based meeting and event rooms
Assist clients in small meeting rooms where required – connecting to VC platforms / zoom/ Teams etc.
Manage digital signage players
Assist the Webinar Platform Operator for virtual/Hybrid events which can include the following: Pushing VTs, Advancing Slides, Managing engagement tools such as Q&A/ Polling
Support the team with production-based work, set-ups, tests, and rehearsals according to schedule and show flows
Operate plug in platform engagement such as Slid.o, Mural, Jam boards etc
Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of all AV rooms, stores, and equipment.
Updating and maintaining records and databases.
To ensure the security of all AV equipment in the building whether owned or hired from nominated suppliers.
Using all opportunities to promote and sell AV services.
To be considered for the role you will need to be able to demonstrate the following experience:

Data projectors and other display systems (e.g. LCD’s)
Audio mixers, DSPs and amplification systems
Audio and Video recording including video mixers
AV control systems
Video/audio playing/editing software (particularly Adobe Premiere).
Video camera set up and operation, lighting, video recording
A high level of computer literacy (PC and Mac) including knowledge and experience of using related presentation software such as Microsoft PowerPoint
Live streaming, creating events through Zoom, Vimeo or similar

Good understanding of audience response interactive platforms e.g., Slido
Client liaison including use of file transferring for presentation via Drop box / FTP
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Good troubleshooting/problem solving skills ability when under pressure. Remaining calm under pressure
A can do, customer service focused approach and good team working/collaboration skills
A demonstrable record of constant improvement through learning and innovation

It would be desirable in addition if applicants are able to demonstrate the following:

Stage and studio lighting set ups and lighting desk operation
Relevant AV related qualifications (such as AVIXA Essentials or CTS)
Knowledge of IT networks and how AV equipment/networks interact with them.
A demonstrable independent interest in AV/IT technology
Experience in a similar working environment while deploying all-round AV technician skills
