Area to be covered: Midlands & South East
Remuneration: £40,000-£50,000

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Curtain Wall, Windows & Doors will involve:
* Field sales position selling a fabricated range of predominantly aluminium windows & doors and curtain walling systems (95% aluminium, 5% PVCu)
* Selling into the commercial refurbishment sector
* 90% targeting main contractors, remainder local authorities
* You will be responsible for an area from the Midlands to the London & South East
* 50% account management role, 50% new business development position, you will provided with a targeted list of main contractors
* Circa £2m-£2.5m revenue target (approx 2-4 deals per annum)
* Typical project sizes £100,000- £2m, average order £500,000-£750,000
* Working closely with the Sales Director
* 2 days a week working from West Midlands office, 3 days per week on the road visiting customers
* Generating tender opportunities
* Preparing estimates using in-house estimating package
* Carrying out surveys and agreeing installation costs
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Curtain Wall, Windows & Doors with:
* Must have worked for either a aluminium fabricator or PVCu fabricator
* Experience of selling into main contractors
* Demonstrable field sales experience in the construction industry
* Must have some understanding of curtain walling, windows or doors
* Aluminium systems or fenestration industry experience preferred
* Previous experience in a similar role
* New business tenacity as well as account management skills
* Comfortable with a technical sell
* Tenacious, people person with bags of personality
