Implementation Consultant

Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Salary : £42000 – £55000/annum + car allowance

Brand new role for a motivated, personable Implementation Consultant / Professional Services Consultant with accounting and ERP software implementation experience. This is a flexible permanent role with work split between some days at home, some in the office and a few days a month out on client site. Since Covid changed the world, PS Consultants here probably only spend 15-20% of their time out on site, so implementation has become far more remote focused, and 80% of it is now done from home or from the office. You would need to be in the office fairly often, so realistically a home location within 2 hours of High Wycombe would be ideal. On offer is a base salary of up to £55k + car allowance.

You will work with very current mid-range ERP and finance software, which is a flexible and modular SaaS solution for small to medium sized distribution, retail and wholesale customers. This is a great company, financially strong, one of our favourite clients, and generally everyone who interviews here loves the vibe and ethos of their business. Their niche ERP product is superb and a lot of their completion in their specialist market is legacy software.

They are a super successful company who have doubled in size in the last 5 years, and are authors of their own ERP software. The product is a fully customisable ERP suite, built on the .Net platform using the latest Microsoft technologies. It encompasses stock & inventory management, estimating, e-commerce, distribution, sales quotations, order processing, invoicing, purchase and nominal ledgers, CRM, pricing, and document management. The solution is a cloud product sold as a service at £50 per user per month.

They are looking for someone who has worked for a reseller, vendor, software house or consultancy and is client facing and outgoing. You are fully experienced in the complete implementation life cycle of business application software such as ERP, Accounting, Dealer Management, Property Management software, Construction software, Merchant's software, or anything with a strong element of accounts. A strong business understanding of the accounting modules of the software is essential, plus an accounting qualification or QBE would be a bonus.

Your role will be busy and varied to include assisting with pre-sales, software implementation and client training. This will cover demos, scoping, requirements gathering, talking to stakeholders and customers, software configuration, installation, go-live, training and initial post implementation support. Aside from accounting expertise, candidates with knowledge of distribution, wholesale, merchants' software, and / or stock & inventory management, would be of particular interest.

You enjoy talking to people and finding out what their business needs are and will be looking to progress your career with a fast growing successful software vendor. You don't crack under pressure, you are organised and motivated working from home where necessary, and you can manage your own time. You are a stickler for producing good documentation and submitting your timesheets, and you believe in giving your clients the best service possible and delivering great software.

This is a company where you can really make a difference and your contribution will be noticed and recognised. To find out more about this great opportunity please call Jake King or Carolyn MacLurg at Ambis or send us a copy of an up to date CV
