Workshop Fitter
Job Type : Contract, Full Time
Salary : £15.33/hour
Castle View Group are looking for an experienced Workshop Fitter to undertake the repair and maintenance of plant, light and heavy vehicles for a client in County Durham.
Must have a driving licence
Duties will include
*
Attend vehicle and plant breakdowns and provide assistance as appropriate.
*
Undertake vehicle / plant / equipment safety inspections.
*
Undertake / assist with MOT testing as appropriate.
Experience needed
* Previously operated within a vehicle fleet / contract hire or horticultural machinery, plant and equipment maintenance
* Working knowledge of winter maintenance and refuse collection vehicles
Normal hours of work operating alternative working hours on a 2 shift rota system covering Monday – Thursday 7.00am – 5.30pm, Friday 7.00am – 5.00pm (37 hours per week).
