Are you a proven Electrical / Mechanical workshop engineer?
We require a Electrical / Mechanical Workshop Engineer to join our team, base within our workshop in Royston Hertfordshire.
You will be part of a team, overhauling and repairing Electric Motors, Pumps, Fans and Gearboxes.
Duties will include:
* Overhauling of electromechanical equipment
* Machining – Manual Lathes/Mill
* Removal and refitting of Bearings
* Fitting of replacement mechanical seals to pumps
* Replacing Drive belts
* Understand technical documents/drawings
Experience & Requirements:
* High standard of workmanship
* Proven track record
* Previous experience repairing electric motors, pumps, gearboxes and fans
* Must have previous machining experience, working with both manual lathes and manual milling machine
* Must have a strong industrial electrical & mechanical background
* Ideally have a full valid UK driving license as some travel or work on customer sites maybe required
* Must own your personal hand tools

We are a reactive company offering 24/365 cover to our customer’s requirements. The successful candidate for this role must be willing to do whatever is needed to ensure that the job is completed efficiently and on time and this may include working overtime.
Generally, you will be working within our workshop in Royston and preferably be located within a 25 mile radius of the SG8 area.
Package on offer:
Salary – £16.00-£18.50/h (dependent on experience) + overtime and callout bonus (OTE £40k+)
28 days Holiday per year (including bank holidays)
Hours of work: 08:00 – 17:00 (40hrs/week) and On-Call
