Our client is a leading consumer media publisher with some of the most popular brands in technology, lifestyle, entertainment, gaming and home interest with content across websites, events and magazines. They are now looking for a Site Editor working on one of their personal finance brands, responsible for editing their newly launched website in the personal finance sector.

The Site Editor will work with the Editor-in-Chief to create a content plan for the website, in line with the overall business strategy and be tasked with growing an audience within a personal and household finance portfolio. The website content will include long form insight, combined with short guides, news and analysis to help their audience make smart decisions about saving, spending and investing their money. Key responsibilities will include:

Ensure all content is in line with SEO best practice and be the gatekeeper of all content for the website
Edit content as required to ensure high quality
Monitor rankings and performance, as well as using analytics tools to input into the content strategy and approach
Keep up to date with trends and insight in the personal finance sector and act as a brand advocate
Work closely with stakeholders across the business to maximise revenue across the site

The successful candidate will have a strong interest and understanding of the personal and household finance sector, with proven knowledge of SEO. You will be superb creator of digital content with exceptional editing skills. In addition, you will have a thorough and proactive approach to analysis, keen to look at performance and trends to input into the overall content strategy.
