Salary : £40000 – £45000/annum Flexible Salary + Benefits
Due to ongoing expansion, we are seeking both an experienced Web Developer to join a foreword thinking, relaxed and friendly team ASAP! As a Web Developer, you will work as a key part of a matrix team based in a large open-plan office in Plymouth, delivering a wide variety of challenging and interesting projects. You will be involved in all stages of the development lifecycle from design and estimation through to the build, deployment and ongoing support of products and client solutions. You will bring coding expertise to the team, working closely with others to produce quality code that is efficient, maintainable and meets defined requirements. You will also work closely with the operational team, which includes; Project Managers, Sales and Support.
Requirements
* A degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related discipline, and/or industry experience in a relevant field.
* We are looking for Web Developers with a good understanding of both object-oriented and functional programming styles.
* You will have demonstrable commercial experience developing dynamic web applications.
* Knowledge/experience of server-side JavaScript using Node.JS would be beneficial.
* You will understand the principles of good software design and take a pragmatic approach to their implementation.
* You will be enthusiastic about technology and take pride in delivering work of a high quality.
* You will be adaptable and work well as part of a team on multiple concurrent projects.
* Good communication skills are also essential.
