Warehouse Operative

Interaction Recruitment are currently recruiting candidates for an upcoming role as a Despatch Operative based in Sittingbourne for a full time temporary to permanent opportunity.
The hourly rate is £11.50 per hour
Shift patterns are –
Monday to Friday 06:00 to 14:00 or 12:00 to 20:00 (core shift will be 12:00 to 20:00 once trained on day shift)
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and positive candidate with a "can do" attitude.
The role will involve physical and manual handling as well as operating electric pallet truck to load and unload lorries. Own transport is essential due to location of working place.
Previous experience isn't neccesary as full training will be provided and Fork-lift licence will be a benefit.
The role will involve –
Preparing pallets to be loaded onto the lorry
Using electric pallet truck
Using Forklift if licence is held
Sending emails and answering telephones
The ideal candidate will have –
Own transport (essential due to location)
Forklift Licence is desirable but not essential
Good level of written and speaking English
Previous experience with PC and Microsoft Office
Good telephone manner
Experience with electric ride on pallet truck
Previous experience within a warehouse environment
