Contract Personnel is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operator for one of the UK’s leading, independent Malting company based in Norwich. This is a busy production site and will include and some FLT work may be required.
The shifts involve working the below:
2 weeks of 6am – 2pm
2 weeks of 2pm – 10pm
2 weeks of 10pm – 6am
Warehouse Operative responsibilities:
Packing of products as per required specification
Basic quality checks of finished product
This will include operating a lot of machinery so the ideal candidate must be physically fit
General warehouse duties
Ensuring all health and safety measures are met
Ensuring that the warehouse and dispatch plans are met to service customer requirements
Loading and unloading for dispatch
Experience:
Experience of working as a warehouse operative within an FMGC environment is essential, preferably within food manufacturing is desirable
Knowledge of basic food hygiene is desirable
Be able to read, understand and communicate in English.
