Our client is well-established business with ambitious yet realistic growth plans for 2021. They specialise in both digital and physical video game publishing in the UK and overseas.
The Role: Video Game Release Coordinator – Game Submission Coordinator
As Game Release Coordinator, you will take responsibility for the coordination of all game releases alongside the senior management team. You will act as the support function in the preparation of all materials required for a successful submission to platform holders for certification and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:Video Game Release Coordinator – Game Submission Coordinator
Lead on the coordination of all game releases.
Working cross-functionally to provide support during the release of a project from initial concept through to publication, covering concept submission and updating developer portals
Provide frequent, detailed feedback and advice throughout the submission processes
Liaise with project stakeholders to determine a detailed road map for each release.
Provide high levels of support to the publishing and development partners from the concept stage through to post release
Work closely with testing teams to ensure each project is ready for certification
Work with inhouse designers to proof and make ready artwork for submission to replicators and ensure deadlines are communicated
Essential Experience and Skills:Video Game Release Coordinator – Game Submission Coordinator
Experience interfacing with the Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony etc. web portals
You will have an understanding of platform holder requirements as well as manufacturing processes and artwork requirements
Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal skills
Ability to create and then drive your own daily workload
Desirable Experience and Skills: Video Game Release Coordinator – Game Submission Coordinator
Experience with bug database tracking software
Shipped a minimum of one title in a Lead QA or Production role from preproduction to release
