The Company
A successful construction products manufacturer supplying the architectural construction industry are currently developing their technical team. Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, the successful Trainee Technical Assistant with provide technical support to the commercial team and customer base.
Responsibilities
Developing knowledge of the company product portfolio in order to offer technical information and support to the customer base and commercial team.
Work closely with the technical team.
Produce training materials and deliver training for in house staff and customers
Assist with new product development projects
Communicate with colleagues across the company in various departments.
Experience Required
Educated to ‘A level’ and above, University degree preferred but not essential.
Competent on Mircosoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Any experience with AutoCAD 2D/3D/Revit/SolidWorks software is advantageous.
Full product training will be provided covering such topics as structures, weathering, U-values, acoustics, thermal bridging.
Further educational training is also available external to the company in order to develop qualifications.
The successful candidate will need to work well as part of a team and under-pressure.
