Technical Support Engineer

Our client is a leading supplier of specialist products for the plumbing and heating industry, supplying to trade and retail customers and the building industry.
The position may appeal to candidates who have worked as plumbers or heating engineers and are looking to move away from working on the tools constantly.
The purpose of the role is to ensure the provision of a high level of technical support and customer service, by direct and indirect contact with all external and internal customers within the Washroom, Bathroom, Heating and Renewable markets.
Specific Duties
* Provide technical assistance to external and internal customers
* Site visits to determine and resolve problems and issues
* Returned product Inspections and validation of warranty claims
* Maintenance of product technical data files
* New product development testing ensuring products meet with the relevant regulations, standards and quality requirements
* Quality inspecting and reporting of products
Requirements
* Proven record of a similar role within a proactive Technical Team or relevant industry experience
* Relevant industry experience in Plumbing and Heating / Renewables is essential
* Good standard of education within a Technical subject
Salary dependant upon experience
