Technical Project Manager – South Shropshire – £29,000 – £38,000 DOE
Locally based designer and manufacturer of immersive virtual reality spaces has a new need for a Technical Project Manager due to ongoing expansion in their business. Servicing industries like Oil and Gas, Construction and Education, the products are used for raising brand awareness, training and storytelling across the world. The company has sites in the UK, Australia and North America so there is some opportunity for travel with the work.
Based on site in South Shropshire you will be an experienced project manager who will be able to hit the ground running and happy to roll your sleeves up and get your hands dirty. Ideally you would have previous experience within the Audio Visual sector but this isn’t essential. You will be client focussed with a track record in delivering large projects as well as developing relationships with the end user. You will also be a team player happy to work with a variety of sized teams as well as being open and inclusive and have a passion for learning new things.
Day to day you will be managing project teams and client coordination and communication, acting as a representative for project delivery and you will manage and deliver projects against the schedule. You will be happy to define roles within your project and manage people within it. There will be day to day liaising with sales and procurement teams as well as design to ensure project delivery as well as identification and management of risks to the projects you work on. Crucially preparing all aspects of site deployment, commissioning and verification.
Key Experience:
Project management experience in a similar role
High computer literacy
Audio Visual background is highly desirable
High attention to detail
