Technical Manager
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £30000 – £45000/annum
Bringing growers and customers together, our client is facilitating their own production and external growers to have a competitive edge, adding value to each stage of the supply chain. In committing themselves in providing a supportive role to growers, whilst understanding the importance of research, development and innovation, they are able to exceed their customers’ expectations and are consequently successfully supplying retailers and food services customers.
In this role you will take full responsibility for all technical areas managing Technical relationships accordingly with customers. You will drive new product initiatives in the market, considering all options to raise standards and give a point of difference, whether it is variety choice, pesticide reductions, ethical standards, green initiatives and so forth. You will also need to ensure that all external suppliers meet technical and quality standards and ensure that systems are maintained all year round to the highest level.
