The Company
A successful building envelope manufacturer in the Leeds area are currently looking to recruit an experienced Technical Manager to join their expanding technical team as a number two supporting the Design Director.
The Company is a forward thinking and energetic business looking to grow their share of the market within the UK.
Responsibilities:
Supporting the Managing Director and overseeing a small technical team.
Working in a busy technical office supporting the Commercial team and a range of customers.
Advising on technical design and installation issues for Glazing Systems.
Producing design solutions for multiple projects.
Producing and understanding project and installation drawings.
Attending / hosting technical meetings when required.
Experience Required:
The candidate will ideally have at least 5 years' experience as a senior designer in the Aluminium Glazing Systems & Facade industry using AutoCAD and associated design software.
Experience of working with a range of Aluminium Glazing systems and Structual Glass along with Cladding and Rainscreen systems would be advantageous.
Be enthusiastic and career driven with a professional attitude to work and a good eye for detail.
Experience of planning, organising, managing and prioritising own workload as well as overseeing others.
