The Company
A specialist structual glazing manufacturer based in the West Yorkshire area are currently looking to recruit an experienced Technical Engineer / Designer to join their expanding technical team and offer design support to the team and customer base.
The Company is a forward thinking and energetic business looking to grow their share of the market within the UK.
Responsibilities
Working in a busy techical office supporting the Technical Manager, the Commercial team and a range of customers.
Advising on technical design and installation issues for aluminium windows & doors on multiple project installs.
Producing and understanding project and installation drawings.
Attending technical meetings when required.
Carrying out other duties as requested by the Technical Manager.
Experience Required
The candidate will ideally have at least 3 years' experience as a designer in the aluminium window, door and facade industry using AutoCAD and related design software.
Experience of working with a range of window, door and facade systems would be advantageous.
Be enthusiastic and career driven with a professional attitude to work and a good eye for detail.
Experience of planning, organising, managing and prioritising own workload.
