MYNT Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting a Technical Coordinator for a family run business based in Hull. This company has been operating for many decades within the fish industry.
The company situated in the West of Hull, comprises of a large production facility, cold store and warehouse.
Our customer is now looking to recruit a Technical Coordinator to join their ever-growing team. The primary role will be to work with and develop systems within the Technical and other departments.
You will be the main technical contact for customers, agencies and internal departments. You will ensure that the products are manufactured to the correct specification, ensuring food safety, quality and legality. The company is very proud to have achieved a high level BRC accreditation and wish to continue with their high standards.
The successful candidate will be reporting directly to the Managing Director and Financial Controller and you will assume responsibility for all duties within the Technical department.
You will work closely with the Technical Assistant and the development of that role within the Company. Customer visits and training courses may require, on occasion, overnight stays.
Duties and experience required:
Working and developing the Company’s product specification database
HACCP
GMP
Process control and manufacturing procedures.
Analysis work
Quality systems
Latest labelling & product legislations
Microbiological result analysis and nutritional work will also fall under your remit and as such, on occasion the role will require some flexibility in hours.
Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualification paying up to £34,000 per annum.
Working a day shift with standard 20 days holiday, which does increase to 25 days holiday based on service.
You will also work with and towards BRC Version 8 audit and customer audits
