Our client
Our client is one of the UK's largest suppliers of fresh produce to the major retailers. They grow and supply fresh produce. They are based in Sussex and looking for a Technical Assistant to provide vital support to the technical department.
The role
The position is to support the technical department with customer complaints, the site Quality Management System and various other systems such as calibrations and internal audits. You will administrate supplier due diligence, customer-supplier management systems and record collation. You will also support the QC and manage product quality and integrity in all aspects of checks in Intake, Packhouse, and dispatch.
The candidate
The ideal candidate will be able to be pro-active and positive under pressure. Have excellent communication skills and have the ability to work across the wider business with a balanced approach. A good team player with good attention to detail when completing technical documents and reports. The ideal would be if they had SAP and muddy boots experience.
