Technical Adviser – Agricultural Roofing
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary :
A senior technical role, working as an agricultural roofing specialist, providing farmers and the field sales team with product information and technical advice.
Location: National role, preferably centrally based
Package: Competitive basic salary (senior role), with an £8k car allowance, pension and 26 days holiday
THE ROLE – Agricultural Roofing Expert
* Responsible for providing technical advice and support on a range of agricultural roofing materials
* Supporting the field sales team, farmers and agricultural frame manufacturers
* Helping the farmers understand their building requirements, help design their farm buildings and calculate the ventilation needs to preserve the welfare of animals, and crop storage
* Working from home, but out with the sales team and in in front of customers whenever required
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT:
* Most importantly you will have experience within the farming and agricultural sector, and understand the needs and challenges that farmers face
* Experience with roofing and farm building design would also be beneficial
* You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills
* And an ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers
