Team Leader/Machine Operator
Job Type : Contract, Full Time
Salary : £10.49 – £10.79/hour
JOB DESCRIPTION
The main duties are as follows:
• Lead production team – lead a team of operators ensuring all duties are completed.
• Communicate with all departments – ensuring that orders are met and product is processed in a timely manner.
• Checking orders / paperwork – ensuring the correct orders and product match.
• Review personnel for training – Feedback to team members • Performance reviews – Providing feedback and supporting team members • Quality checking – Ensuring product meets client’s specification.
• Complying with company H&S policies
The ideal candidate will be/have:
• Previous supervisory experience
• Ideally a FMCG background – not essential • Confident and self-motivated – Able to support / Lead a team • Good communicator – Essential to lead a team and communicate with all departments • Good level of English • Understanding of health and safety standards
You will be working in a busy factory environment completing tasks that may involve heavy lifting.
Due to the location of the site you will be required to have your own transport.
Staff canteen provided.
Training may take place during a day shift (if applying for Nights) until complete or transferred over to nights.
For the right candidate their maybe an opportunity for full time work subject to requirements.
Night shift 6pm – 6am 4 on 4 off
Pay rate = £10.49 /£10.79 per hour
Night and Day shifts may be available
